Celebrating a Historic Achievement at Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy!

Dear Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy Parents and Families,

I am excited and incredibly proud to share some wonderful news with you: Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy has earned a GREEN rating on this year’s School Performance Framework (SPF)—one of the highest performance ratings in our school’s history!

This achievement represents the tremendous growth, dedication, and commitment of our entire school community. Even more exciting, our scholars’ SAT performance in both Mathematics and Reading is above the district and state averages. This is a significant accomplishment and a powerful reflection of the hard work taking place in our classrooms every day.

I want to especially recognize our amazing scholars and exceptional educators. Our teachers continue to demonstrate their commitment to ensuring that every scholar is challenged, supported, and prepared for success. The results we are celebrating today are a direct reflection of the impact of that work.

As we prepare to enjoy the Labor Day weekend, I encourage our families to take a moment to celebrate. Talk with your child about their accomplishments. Ask them what they are proud of and remind them that their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to learning matter.

This GREEN rating belongs to all of us.

It represents our scholars’ perseverance, our educators’ dedication, our families’ partnership, and the continued belief that Every Class, Everyday! can make a difference.
